Arlington Funeral services took care of my fathers funeral this week and put simply, they are amazing!

David and the team have that personal caring touch that you can only get with an independent / family owned funeral directors, and having got to an age where I seem to be attending more and more funerals, Arlington's are the most professional, careing and dedicated funeral directors I have ever encountered.

Nothing was too much trouble for David and he was available at all times of the day, (and even evening), to answer our questions and provide advice.
The funeral itself was perfect in every way and this is thanks to the dedication and professionalism of David and the team at Arlington's.

From the moment we met David, when my farther was nearing the end of his life, we were struck by how caring and devoted he and Arlington's are to looking after people going through the worst moments of their life.

David took care of everything and explained things as much or as little as we wanted. His attention to detail is second to none and his willingness to accommodate any wishes, (including the last minute arrival of a full size fire engine as part of the funeral), and our family Springer Spaniel accompanying us to the funeral was quite simply amazing!

The care Arlington's took of my father when they collected him from hospital was second to none, even down to the finest of details of how he wore his braces etc when we came to visit dad in the chapel of rest.

After the funeral of my father, we had lots of family and friends also say to us how impressed they were with not just the funeral but how well organised and perfect the whole day was. The staff and vehicles were immaculately turned out and they knew exactly what to do. Even when there was a Scout Group guard of honor present, (which wasn't planned), there was no panic etc, David simply organised them and the flags to where they needed to be.
The order of service for dad, that Arlington's produced was the best we have ever seen, as it is also a tribute to dad containing color photos that people can keep. Lots of people commented how fantastic this was.

For myself and mum, it was a perfect send off and we feel dad would have been proud of what we achieved for his final journey, and this is mainly thanks to David and the team at Arlington's.

Arlington's are truly the best. They looked after our daughter Marni with the most amazing care. They also guided and supported us as a family through the hardest time of our lives.
Nothing was to much trouble and they were always a phone call or visit away.
Their guidance and support allowed us to give our baby girl who will be forever 20 the best send off we possibly could .

Our 2nd time within 5 months of using Arlingtons.
First time in October 2025 when we lost our dad.
From the first time we met David we knew instantly we were in good hands.
The care and compassion shown towards us as a family was just the comfort we needed when trying to navigate through such difficult times.
Planning a funeral for your loved one is so difficult, David and the team at Arlingtons made the process so seamless and took away the stress and pressure. Arlingtons organised everything, the Church, the cemetery, the venue for after the funeral.
David highly recommended florists and headstone companies.
Arlingtons made us feel like we were their only priority.
Then fast forward to March 2026, we lost our mum, “the Gaffer”.  There was only one person we thought of to call, that was our friend David. Again, we were in good hands with David.
We felt prioritised again. When visiting the chapel of rest, this time we officially met Tracy.
Tracy was full of so much love, she told us she looked after my mum, and she was in awe, the warmth and love from Tracy was such a huge comfort in such a difficult time. It was obvious to see that Tracy loves what she does.
Arlingtons yet again excelled themselves, although we knew what to expect this time around, Arlingtons took care of everything and took the stress and pressure away.
We cannot thank Arlingtons enough, at both funerals, all staff involved were simply incredible and made sure the days ran smoothly.
Arlingtons we appreciate you and Thank you for everything you have done for us, you gave both parents the best send off they deserved and fulfilled their final wishes.

I went to say goodbye to a dear friend today, was met by Tracy such a lovely lady with a soft soothing comforting voice and manner. My friend had suffered before her passing due to cancer which had taken its toll on her beautiful self, but  Tracy had restored Jeanette's beautiful face and she looked so peaceful and simply looked like she was sleeping so lovely to see.
